El Progreso is the oldest Winemaking Cooperative Company in Spain with uninterrupted activity since its inception with more than a century of history.
El Progreso is based in Villarrubia de los Ojos, Ciudad Real (Castilla-la Mancha), a privileged location between the Central Range of Mountains of Spain and the vast plain of La Mancha, with over 600 m altitude. The area is watered by the Cigüela and Guadiana rivers and surrounded by Las Tablas de Daimiel, a natural wetland and one of the most important Natural Parks in Spain.
