Aware of the international development potential of a region as rich as the Rhône Valley, Jean-Marc POTTIEZ decided in early 2016 to create the nRm Millésimes house there , by associating himself with the services of the finest palate in this region, Romain DUVERNAY , and by purchasing his signature brand.
The Rhone Valley vineyard extends from Vienne to Avignon, along the banks of the Rhone in the south of France. Dotted along the more or less steep banks of the river, it is the third largest French vineyard after the vineyards of Languedoc-Roussillon and Bordeaux, with nearly 75,600 hectares of vines, producing 3,000,000 hectoliters of red, rosé, dry white wines and some sparkling or naturally sweet wines.
This region is characterised by its Mediterranean climate: flooded with sunshine, interspersed with short periods of rain, and the mistral, a strong but beneficial wind for the vines, which descends along the Valley.
Under its signature brand, the nRm Millésimes house takes you to discover the extreme diversity of the terroirs that provide the richness of expression to its wines and to meet the winegrowers who give them a soul.
Its objective is then to promote exceptional domains, and their producers, most of whom are in organic viticulture, to meet the new expectations of consumers and this market trend which is becoming more important every day.
